Happy Birthday to one of my best friends, Chris!!!! He is also my oldest friend & one of my favourite people ever! Life would never have been as good without him :) I didn't get to make it to his impromptu birthday gathering yesterday arvo because I already had lunch plans, but hopefully I'll get to see him this weekend.

I had lunch at The Cabin yesterday with a couple of friends, it's the cutest little wine bar right near my place. The food wasn't brilliant, although they did something amazing with the side of vegetables I ordered, no idea what, but yum!!! We had some amazing wine too, Wills Domain Shiraz from Margaret River. I hadn't had it before, but the girls tried some of mine & loved it too, so we ended up getting a bottle. I'll definitely have it again :)

Pretty pretty :) I like playing with the brightness/contrast on photos to make them brighter & bring out the colours more. Most of these are from WeHeartIt, which my lovely sister got me into. They have BEAUTIFUL stuff.

Also... one of my favourite breakfasts ever :D I sometimes have the plainer cream cheese with ham & tomato, but I like this one better. The coffee really is as dark as it looks, but it does have milk & sugar in it, I just like things really strongly flavoured. If (!!) we ever run out of coffee, I have grapefruit or orange & passionfruit juice. If we ran out of those, I don't know what I'd do hehe. Probably go buy some, rather than improvise :P

"It's a Beautiful Morning..."

Ahhhhhh Saturday morning are amazing!!!! I had a really long, tiring week at work, so I've been hanging out for a sleep in all week! I'm not the best sleeper though, so 10am is a huge sleep in for me :) I think I was late for work every day this week, I just couldn't get out of bed. To add to that, my friend sent me a text yesterday, asking why I was late for work, because he'd driven past my office in town & seen that it was closed :P He also told me he'd seen his best friend in town & when I asked what he'd been doing there, he said he was on a paid wine-tasting course for his job!!!! It's ok for some :) I'm friends with this guy too & he is really into his job, is never late, never takes days off, etc, so he really does deserve it :)

I have plans for a weekend away with these guys & a few other friends in a month or so, I can't wait!!!!!! I LOVE Margaret River & I hope to buy a house there someday. After buying my treehouse in Hawaii of course :) I can just imagine sitting on the beach in the photo above every morning, having coffee & then working on my really amateur surfing skills with this board :) I've always wanted a board with this pattern, although I would need a long-board with my skills heehee & unfortunately it's not the best colour to have in the water. I invision something similiar but with bright orange-red sunset hues. So pretty!!!! xoxo
